Hollywood Big Shot(b)|

Hollywood Big Shot

by Daniel Howard and Brian Foden

Not every movie star is the coolest and most handsome person.

Movie star, director, and producer Ben Stiller does not seem to be slowing down. His more recent and future projects include 2013's The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and two movies that are not out yet, Night at the Museum 3, and Zoolander 2. The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is a dramatic comedy-adventure romance directed and produced by Stiller. The movie is a film adaptation of a 1939 short story written by James Thurber. Walter Mitty is Stiller's day-dreaming character who escapes his boring life by disappearing into a fantasy world of heroic bravery, action, and romance. Although the spectacular film received mixed reviews, it was named one of the National Board of Review's top 10 movies of 2013. What's more, it also won Saturn Awards nominations for best fantasy film and a best actor nomination for Stiller.

Night at the Museum 3 will be released in the US on December 25. The latest sequel to the original Night at the Museum features Iron Man 3 star Ben Kingsley and Perfect Pitch star Rebel Wilson in the cast. Zoolander 2 is the long-awaited sequel to 2001's comic masterpiece Zoolander. Plans to make Zoolander 2 were announced in 2011 when Stiller said he had already begun working on the script, but progress has been slow. Stiller recently told The Hollywood Reporter that it is still in the works but added that production has yet to be scheduled. He also took the opportunity to deny rumors that he offered Lady Gaga a starring role. Stiller also said he enjoyed making Mitty so much that he might even quit acting to become a full-time director. Whatever Stiller's intentions for the future are, it is quite likely that he will be successful.
