　　George liked to go to museums and admire the artwork. Last month, he went to an exhibition of Picasso paintings, which were quite nontraditional. After looking at all the paintings, he thought that he could paint like Picasso. On his way home, he stopped by a stationery store and got some paint, brushes, canvas, and an easel. As soon as he arrived at his apartment, George started painting some bizarre shapes.

　　The next day after getting off work, George painted more odd pictures. This soon became a habit for him. In a short time, George had painted 25 pictures, so he decided to hold his own exhibition. He called up all of his friends and invited them to see his art collection. When his friends arrived, they were too stunned by the ugly paintings to say anything. George asked if anyone wanted to buy his paintings and many of his friends just started laughing. It was then that George realized he was not destined to be the next Picasso after all.

 

　　乔治喜欢去美术馆欣赏艺术作品。上个月，他去看了相当另类的毕卡索画展。看完所有的画作以后，他以为自己可以画得像毕卡索一样。在回家的途中，他便顺道去文具店买了一些颜料、画笔、画布以及画架。乔治一回到自己的公寓便开始画一些奇形怪状的画。

　　隔天下班后，乔治画了更多奇怪的画。这很快地就变成了他的习惯。不久，乔治就画了二十五张画，所以他决定开自己的画展。他打给所有的朋友并邀请他们来参观他的艺术收藏。当他的朋友来了以后，他们都被那些难看的画作吓到说不出话来。乔治问有没有人想要买他的画，而他的许多朋友都只是开始大笑。这时乔治才了解他终究注定无法成为下一个毕卡索。
