　　After a hard day at work, Debbie really needed a nice, hot shower. As the warm water fell over her body, she felt the tension melt away. She felt relaxed and happy, and started singing one of her favorite songs. Just then, her joyfulness was shattered by the sound of the bathroom door creaking open. Debbie froze in fear. She lived alone, so who could it possibly be? Her imagination began to run wild. She imagined it might be a robber or even a murderer. Could it be just like the murder-mystery movie she had watched the other day?

　　Debbie looked around for anything she could use to protect herself, but there was nothing except the shower head. Grabbing the shower head, Debbie slowly opened the shower curtain to confront the intruder. She then breathed a sigh of relief. It was just her dog, Rover, taking a drink from the toilet bowl. Debbie then realized she hadn't closed the door properly, and Rover had pushed it open with his nose. Debbie laughed at herself and continued with her shower.

 

　　在辛勤工作一整天之后，黛比真的需要洗一场舒服的热水澡。当温暖的水流向她的身体，她感觉到压力顿时化为乌有。她感到放松又快乐，开始唱她最喜爱的歌曲之一。就在这时，她的喜悦因为浴室门嘎吱一声打开的声音而消失无踪。黛比因为恐惧而全身僵硬。她一个人住，所以究竟会是谁呢？她开始胡思乱想。她想象那可能是一个抢劫犯或甚至谋杀犯。可能会象是和她前几天看的悬疑片一样的情节吗？

　　黛比环顾四周找寻她可以用来保护自己的东西，但除了莲蓬头以外什么都没有。她抓紧了莲蓬头，然后缓慢地打开浴帘来与闯入者对抗。她接着便松了一口气。原来是她的狗露华在喝马桶里的水。黛比发现自己没有把门关好，而露华用牠的鼻子推开了门。黛比一笑置之并继续洗澡。
