Amazing Water Show Thrills Audiences in Macau

An elaborate set, fabulous gymnastics, and lots of water all make for wonderful entertainment.

　　The House of Dancing Water at City of Dreams has been labeled one of Macau's must-see attractions, and for good reason. It's not only spectacular but also a spectacle full of amazing props, diving stunts, _(1)_ gymnastics, and dancing water. The 85-minute show takes place in a 2,000-seat circular theater designed around a huge pool that contains 3.7 million gallons of water, enough to fill five Olympic-sized swimming pools.

　　The award-winning show starts _(2)_ with a fisherman in a small boat in the pool. Suddenly, the peaceful scene is _(3)_ into mayhem as the masts of a pirate ship rise from the depths and the fisherman disappears underwater in a whirlpool. Performers swing from rigging before diving 10 meters into the pool below. Not long after the last diver slips underwater, the pirate ship submerges and a _(4)_ stage is raised so that other performances may continue to thrill and astound the audience. Another integral part of the show is the _(5)_ 240 water jets embedded in various sections of the stage that are coordinated to shoot water more than 18 meters high with music.

　　All of this _(6)_ is made possible by an elaborate set and the Dancing Water Theater, which cost US$250 million to produce. They were designed by Pei Partnership Architects, and the show is _(7)_ by the Franco Dragone Entertainment Group, which bills itself as the world's most spectacular showmaker. Since the show opened in 2010, over one million people have enjoyed The House of Dancing Water.

举世赞叹的水上表演

精心布置的场景、令人惊艷的体操表演以及四溅的水花在在造就了绝妙的娱乐棭效果。

　　由澳门新濠天地所推出的『水舞间』表演向来都被列为去澳门非看不可的景点之一，而这其来有自。它不仅壮观无比，更是一场充满惊奇道具、跳水特技、令人叹为观止的体操表演以及舞动流水的奇观。这场历时八十五分钟的表演是在一个有两千个座位的环形剧场所举行，这座剧场是围绕着一座拥有三百七十万加仑水的游泳池所设计，那足以填满五座奥运场馆规模的游泳池。

　　这项获奖无数的表演是由一位在泳池中乘着一艘小船的渔夫揭开序幕。突然之间，海盗船的桅杆从水底深处升起，使得这幕平静的景象转变为一片混乱，而那名渔夫也消失在水底的漩涡之中。表演者在桅杆的绳索上悬空摆荡，接着便向下跳十公尺潜入底下的游泳池。在最后一位跳水者滑入水底之后没多久，海盗船便潜入水中，接着一座实心的舞台从水中升起，好让其他表演可以继续带给观众刺激和惊奇。这场表演另外一个不可或缺的部份就是大约有两百四十台喷水机嵌在舞台的各个区域，并配合音乐流动喷射出十八多公尺高的水花。

　　精心设置的布景和水舞间剧场让这种种艺术效果能够实际呈现，其耗资两亿五千万美元打造。它们是由贝氏建筑事务所设计，而该表演是由法兰哥‧德拉贡娱乐集团所执导，他们宣称自己是全世界最具规模的表演活动商。自从该表演在 2010 年开幕之后，已经有一百多万人观赏过『水舞间』的表演。
