The Cronut Craz|

A new style of donut is so good that people are lining up for it all over the world.

Donuts will never be the same again because Cronuts have taken the world by storm. Almost everyone is talking about these donut-croissant _(1)_, but very few people are lucky enough to eat them. The pastries borrow the ring shape of _(2)_ donuts, but are made from croissant dough. They are fried and then filled, dusted, and glazed, just like regular donuts.

New York City is the official home to Cronuts, which were invented by chef Dominique Ansel at his Soho bakery in early 2013. It was only a matter of time _(3)_ everyone got in on the action because word about these delicious treats spread like wildfire. The Cronut craze has resulted in _(4)_ springing up all over the world. Even if you've heard that Cronuts are now available in your city, don't get too excited because they are not the real deal. The original Cronut is made _(5)_ at Dominique Ansel's bakery, and only a few hundred are made each day. For a taste of the real thing, and even some of the better replicas, lines are long. For many months after the _(6)_ launch of Cronuts, lines at the New York City bakery started as early as 6:00 AM, and the wait was hours long. It was reported that some people would even _(7)_ the hot commodities for up to US$100 for something that originally only cost US$5. While there are only a few places that sell fake Cronuts in Taiwan, many people expect them to be very popular soon.
