　　Water is essential to our lives. Without it, we would die along with other life forms on Earth. We are facing a water crisis these days. In many parts of the world, clean water is becoming difficult to find. What's more, this problem will only get worse in the future. Some experts even predict that the next world war could occur over water.

　　There are many reasons why we are facing huge water shortages. Two major causes are overpopulation and pollution. The world's population is increasing fast, which means more and more water is being consumed every year. At the same time, we have polluted many rivers and other sources of drinking water. In order to deal with our water crisis, we really need to value the importance of water. This means we should stop wasting and polluting our drinking water. Only by so doing can we make sure that humans will have enough water for survival.
