　　Traveling as part of a tour group is the best way to travel because it is more relaxing and cheaper than going alone. When you travel this way, all of the arrangements have already been taken care of for you. You don't have to worry about where to stay or what to do. The entire trip is planned by a professional who knows a lot about the place you are going to visit. In addition, you can usually save a lot of money by traveling with others.

　　Not only is traveling with a tour group more relaxing and cheaper, but it is also safer. If you go to a foreign country by yourself, you might not know the language or customs there. Also, you might not know much about the dangers in that area, and you could get into trouble, for example, you might get lost in a dangerous part of town. In conclusion, joining a tour group is the ideal way to travel, at least for some people.

　　跟团旅行是最棒的旅游方式，因为那样比自己去来得较轻松也较便宜。当你用这种方式旅游，一切事物都已经帮你安排妥当了。你不用担心要住哪里或是要做什么。一位熟知你将探访地点的专人会规划整趟旅程。除此之外，和别人一起旅游通常可以省下很多钱。

　　跟团旅行不只比较轻松又便宜，而且也比较安全。如果你一个人出国，你可能不了解当地的语言或习俗。同样地，你可能不太清楚该地区的危险之处，而且你可能会身陷麻烦，例如，你可能会在镇上的危险地带迷路。总而言之，加入旅行团至少对某些人来说是种理想的旅游方式。

　　Compared to traveling with a tour group, taking a vacation by yourself or with friends is a much better option. When you join a tour, you are locked into visiting the destinations the travel agent has chosen for you. In contrast, when you travel on your own, you are your own master and can go anywhere you want to at any time. I remember making the mistake of going with a tour group to Bali. The tour guide only gave us one hour to spend at the beach the whole week. Needless to say, I hated that tour.

　　When you travel on your own or with friends, you can actually get to know more about the culture of a place. Instead of merely visiting the tourist traps that tour groups usually go to, you can get off the beaten track and meet the locals. Traveling on your own gives you a real taste for what a place is like. For all these reasons, I prefer to avoid tour groups like the plague.

　　和跟团旅行相比，只身去度假或与朋友同行这个选择要好得多。你参加旅行团时，就会被限制去参观旅行社帮你选好的目的地。相较之下，当你独自旅游，你可以自己作主，而且随时都可以去任何你想去的地方。我记得有一次我决定跟团去峇里岛旅行，那真是个错误的决定。导游整个星期只给我们一小时的时间在海边。不用说也知道，我恨死了那趟行程。

　　当你独自旅游或与朋友同行，你其实会更了解当地文化。与其只是去参观那些旅行团常去的观光陷阱，你可以去观光客较不常去的地方认识当地人。独自旅游能让你瞧瞧一个地方的真正风貌。基于这些原因，我宁可避开讨厌的旅行团。
